I am so excited to be exhibiting in this show with my piece titled “Sanctuary.” My very first venture into the aviary home market. An artisan from PA handmade this quality birdhouse using maple/ poplar/pine wood and is designed specifically for wrens.

I let my self-expression go on this one. Very eclectic and definitely OOAK. So much fun creating Every side is eclectically hand painted with vibrant colors and textures. Acrylic, mixed media sealed with a non-toxic gloss varnish to bring out the color and protect the wood.

“Sanctuary” is on the market starting August 5th through September 3. It is available to purchase through the gallery. D-hooks are on the back to hang on wall or wire loop on roof to hang. The number at the August House Chicago Gallery is 773-327-5644. Augusthouse@sbcglobal.net
